Media personality and comedian Oga Obinna has called out Mumias East MP Peter Salasya for alleging that celebrities, including Obinna, are joyriding on Stivo Simple Boy's financial misery for clout.

Through his Instagram page, the comedian warned Salasya against using Stivo's situation to get followers while noting that he is happy that people are stepping in to help the much as they can.

"Let's help the Stivo...simple. All this kizungu mingi na catwalk haitasaidia. let's hope you will be true to your word. If Stivo wins I'm happy. I help kidogo, you help kidogo and any other person. About Millions - Read Luke 21:1-4 The much I have is not from CDF 😎. Stop bitching & blubbering like some uneducated blogger. Talk from a point of verified information," Obinna wrote.

This is after the MP pledged to help Stivo Simple Boy, promising to build him a house upcountry and rent him an apartment in Nairobi.

"I will help you wherever I can, I will build a house for you in Oyugis….so Monday, you will have a new home, tafta ile nyumba itakupendeza mimi I will do the necessary. For the first three months, I'll pay rent for you so that you stabilise, I'll also look for some furniture, mattress, bed, for you," Salasya told the 'Mihadarati' hitmaker.

Salasya also urged Simple Boy to strive towards managing his career by himself, citing that he managed his own campaigns during the elections.

"I also want you to be your man on your own, manage your own resources, manage your own money, because if you have been in the industry and it's not helping you there is no point," he stated.

"I don't want you to have a manager, I want you to handle things on your own. Nikiwa campaign I was the controller the manager, the budgeter, everything, that is why now you see they are enjoying (Stivo's manager) and you are here suffering, and that is how most artistes are suffering," he added.

He further noted that celebrities are out to use Stivo's money situation for their selfish gains.

"Tuache kubeba hawa artistes ujinga, wanakuja wanamake stories wanatrend they don't help the young people….wale wanatafuta kutrend na they are not doing what they have promised to do mshindwe kabisa," he added.
