About #TTNT

Through Thick 'N' Thin #TTNT is a stand-up comedy show hosted by Njugush and his wife Celestine.

#TTNT season one attracted massive audiences with the tickets being sold out at the eleventh hour.

It may seem predestined, but the journey began years ago amid doubts and uncertainty but somehow, someway, they figured it out.

In a narration on Youtube, Njugush, and Cele explain that it started as a small idea before it grew to cover more people in the entertainment industry.

The show first went down on Valentine's Day of 2020 and was later released on Youtube in August the same year.

During the first season, their son Tugi made his first debut publicly. Tugi has since then had a Youtube channel with over 122K subscribers.

Njugush took to Twitter to express his gratitude noting "It was only a dream"

What's next for Njugush

Njugush who is also a Youtuber does short videos with his wife, who hosts episodes of Cele's Reflection on the same channel.

The comedian revealed that in the near future he will officially launch a new website www.njugush.ke which will enable him to reach a larger audience.

This will see the growth of #TTNT and he hopes he will be in a position to host other comedians on stage for performance.

The new normal

At this time when the world is fighting COVID-19 pandemic, entertainers who can no longer perform on big stages rely on the use of technology to reach their audiences.

This has pushed most comedians into using various apps like TikTok and Youtube to entertain virtually.

Kenya has seen a massive rise of YouTubers and veterans like Njugush who were among the pioneers of short funny videos on Youtube continue to grow.

Since his debut, Youtube has produced more comedians including Flaqo, Krazy Kenner, Desagu, and Abel Mutua among many others.
