Diamond Platnumz failed to attend his mother's 54th birthday party because he was away in Europe on his worldwide music tour.
Both Diamond and his wife Zuchu skipped Mama Dangote's lavish birthday party which was held in Dar es Salaam.
Mama Dangote however dismissed all speculations and rumours about why Zuchu skipped her birthday party, revealing that the singer was out of the country.

“She called me in the morning, She told me she was shooting a project in South Africa. She asked if I wanted any present. I told her to bring me anything of her choice. She told me I should get out and have fun,” Mama Dangote said in an interview with Tanzanian media.
Diamond gave his mother money
Even though Diamond didn't attend his mother's birthday, he dispatched his cousin and official DJ Romy Jones to surprise his mom.
To express his love, Diamond gifted his mother a whopping Tsh20 million which is equivalent to Ksh1 million.
Mama Dangote poured out her heart to her son after she received the money from him.
"Thank you so much my son Naseeb. May God continue to bless you so that you can continue to care for me until the end of my life. May you flourish in everything you do. Thank you for the surprise you gave me on my birthday," Mama Dangote wrote.
"Nakupenda zaidi mama angu (I love you much more my mother)," Diamond commented accompanied by love emojis.
The Bongo singer is fond of spoiling his mother. In January this year, he surprised his mom with an expensive silver chain worth a staggering Ksh5.4 million.
