Tanzanian actress Frida Kajala Masanja and her daughter Paula Kajala are burying the hatchet after allegedly dating the same man.
The duo is said to have had a romantic relationship with Tanzania Bongo singer Harmonize.
The reconciliation aired live on their reality show dubbed Behind The Gram, which saw Frida overwhelmed with tears as she tried to explain to her daughter that she did not think about the impact of her action on her(Paula).
On the show, the Bongo movie actress is seen waking Paula up for a meal before she asked for her forgiveness.
"I am sorry. I feel like I failed you as a mum, you look up to me for everything. We have a very good bond but I made a decision that you kept telling me not to, I am sorry. It hurts me because there are things I would have thought about. I feel bad but there is nothing I can do," Frida apologized.
In another scene, Frida while speaking to a therapist revealed that Paula would often break down following the highly publicized allegations and that she is afraid of how people view her for sharing a man with her mother.
"There is a day she told me she was bothered about how people viewed her. She was scared that the negative publicity would hinder her for the rest of her life. There are things she would say that made me feel she was hurting," Fridah stated.
The daughter accepted her mother's apologies acknowledging that it is now behind them.

In the new revelation, Frida says after their second last breakup with Harmonize, he started sending romantic messages to her daughter Paula.
However, the two would later get back together regardless of Paula's efforts to stop her mum.
They eventually broke up in a highly publicized split that saw Harmonize drop a single titled 'Single' to confirm the rumour.
Speaking to Mzazi Willy M Tuva, Kajala said her relationship with Harmonize hit rock bottom because they were not giving each other space.
"Mazoea mtu akishakuzoea sana anakuchukulia poa. Unajua mi simlaumu kwa sababu ye ni kijana mdogo maybe alikua anahitaji space. Unajua tulikua tuko too much (close) na ye mara ya kwanza nahisi aliona kama is joke unajua kusema nataka huyu mtu niwe naye 24/7 - munaamka wote munaenda wote gym, munafanya hiki munafanya hiki. Labda alikua anahitaji space yake yani afanye na vitu vyake vingine," Kajala said.
