Entertainer and radio personality Felix Odiwour alias Jalang'o, has announced his plan to exit from the radio.

In his Youtube channel, Jalas confirmed that he'd be leaving the Kiss 100 as a co-host on February 9, 2022, citing a need to activate his Lang’ata parliamentary race campaigns ahead of the 2022 general elections.

“Tarehe tisa February ndio siku yangu ya mwisho, ndio nataka kuingia kwa kiwanja ya campaign,” he said.

“Niko serious kabisa, I don’t go for things that I can’t get, nimepiga research mbaya sana ndio uone nimeamua ni Lang’ata.”

Jalas joined the radio station in July 2020 after the exit of popular internet personality Andrew Kibe.

Jalng’oo announced he've officially joined ODM on Thursday, July 15 and was awarded life membership in a ceremony presided over by party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna.

“Comedian and radio presenter Felix Odhiambo Odiwuor aka Jalang’o today officially joined the biggest political movement in the country. He was handed the Life Membership certificate by SG Edwin Sifuna,” ODM said in a statement.

Jalang’o together with Lawyer Steve Ogola and former Gor Mahia Treasurer Sally Bolo among others have shown interest in the Langata parliamentary seat seeking to unseat current MP Nixon Korir in 2022.

Speaking in an interview, the comedian expressed optimism in winning the seat, promising major changes in the constituency.

He further appealed to the youths to join him in changing and making Lang’ata great again.

“I am going to be the next MP of Langata. Youths change your votes. Come and vote for us to build a new Langata. I am campaigning for myself. I am very serious, I am the next MP of Langata. Mark this day.

“I don’t go for things I can’t get. And once I have I said it…. start getting used to your future MP,” he said.
