A photo of Kenyan Afropop sensation Sauti Sol with the American vocal harmony group Boyz II Men is causing a buzz on social media.

More to the photo was a caption where Sauti Sol termed themselves as the 'greatest group of all time'.

"This is a moment in music history. Two of the greatest groups of all time, Boyz II Men and Sauti Sol finally meet. We can't wait to see you all tomorrow! It's going to be a night to remember," Sauti Sol's tweet read.

Fans quickly took to the comment section to share opinions. While some did not seem to agree with the description mentioned above others say Sauti Sol should borrow a leaf from Boyz II Men and reconsider breaking up.

Boyz II Men (pronounced boys to men) best known for emotional ballads and a cappella harmonies are currently a trio composed of baritone Nathan Morris alongside tenors WanyΓ‘ Morris and Shawn Stockman.

The group was formed in 1985 and at the time, Boyz II Men were a quartet, including bass singer Michael McCary, who left the group in 2003 citing health issues. The group gained international success in 1991.

Sauti Sol and Boyz II Men are set to share the stage in a much-hyped concert scheduled for Saturday, June 10, 2023.

This follows a recent announcement on May 20, 2023, where Sauti Sol that kicked off their career in 2005 said they have decided to call it quits.

The band, comprised of vocalists Bien-AimΓ© Baraza, Willis Chimano, Savara Mudigi, and guitarist Polycarp, recently stated that they will embark on a remarkable grand farewell tour across the world before breaking off to pursue solo careers.
