The Youtube channel of upcoming rapper Diana Marua Bahati, also known by her stage name Diana B, has been hacked and subsequently deleted from the Google platform.

The Youtuber, who is married to renowned artiste Bahati Kioko, took to her Instagram to announce the shocking news to her fans.

Diana stated in her post that she was shell-shocked by the discovery, emotionally revealing that her channel was taken over by an ill-intentioned hacker who proceeded to change its name and subsequently delete it.

"I have lived at peace with everyone and I have always stayed on my lane; I don't know why anyone would do this to me! You hack my YouTube Account; Change the name and even worse you delete it fam," she posted.

The mother of two assured her fans that her channel, which had amassed over 600,000 subscribers, will be back and that her management in conjunction with Youtube Management Agency NGOMMA have thrown their spanners to works to ensure she regains access to the channel.

"We shall be back soon stay strong Team Diana. We trust and give glory to God for everything. My management & NGOMMA has started the process of contacting YouTube," she added.

Marua shared a screengrab of the notification she was sent by Youtube, outlining why they brought down her channel. In the message, the video platform cited severe or repeated violations of its Community Guidelines as the reason behind the channel's deletion.

"We have reviewed your content and found severe or repeated violations of its Community Guidelines. Because of this, we have removed your channel from Youtube," the message read in part.
