Content creator Vanessa Akinyi popularly known as Cartoon comedian has hailed fellow entertainer Tom Daktari for supporting her.

Speaking during her appearance for an interview with Oga Obinna, Cartoon recalled some time back when she needed to move out and was in dire need of money.

She said she later called Tom who asked her to meet up at his place in South B, Nairobi and get the money.

According to her, they met up and before Tom gave her the cash, he took about one hour to advise her but did not disclose the details about the advice.

"I called Tom, and told him I was broke and needed around Ksh10,000," she narrated.

“Prior to giving me the money, he gave me a long lecture. We ended up standing at the matatu stage for around one hour," she added.

Cartoon says she celebrates Tom's success and hails him as a giver.

“He was not doing well but he gave me the money nonetheless. Tom is a giver- he is just something else. He is a great guy. I am proud of his success.”

Tom Daktari has been a comedian for a while and arguably experienced his breakthrough via TikTok that propelled him to stardom.

Tom became a TikTok sensation with his funny, sarcastic and well-curated statements. His art demonstrates the humblest words and tone one can bring themselves to adopt (which is really much closer to a brag) when giving compliments or issuing statements.
