Kenyan socialite Amber Ray has explained why she can never date Oga Obinna despite his long-standing crush on her.

In a recent interview with Vincent Mboya, the influencer revealed that Obinna does not stand a chance with her given the fact that he has had trouble dealing with his baby mama.

Haiwezi. Haiwezi kwanza vile naskia baby mama wake ni stressful sana, staki stress za baby mama. Haiwezi but namwishia all the best he is a good guy I have met him severally we have done job mingi pamoja, he is a good guy yeah,” Amber Ray expressed.

This comes in the wake of Amber Ray's recent breakup with her fiancé, Kennedy Rapudo, which prompted Oga Obinna to publicly express his desire to date her on social media.

He even went as far as professing his willingness to take care of Amber Ray's children.

"Wanasema you be your brother's keeper bro, Amber Ray hawezi lala njaa na niko hii Nairobi, watoto nitalea, watoto mimi nitalea watoto bwana," Obinna wrote.

Oga Obinna also flaunted his Range Rover Sport on social media, announcing his plan to visit Amber Ray's residence to provide comfort during her challenging times.

"Sasa gari ndio hii, ndio hii hapa nimepata kuja uwaonyeshe hii ni gari gani bwana kuja uwaonyeshe red light wajue hii ni gani..."

Breakup

Two weeks ago, Amber Ray shared a cryptic message on her Instagram account, hinting at the end of her relationship.

In a series of posts that raised concerns among her followers, she disclosed that her home was no longer a safe place.

"The foundation of love and unity that should uphold a marriage has become unclear, leaving me emotionally drained. I've endured this environment for some time now, and for the sake of my own well-being and safety, I had to make the difficult choice of prioritizing myself. The wounds and scars extend beyond the physical, and for my own sake, I must put myself first," she expressed.

"I realize that the upcoming days and weeks will pose challenges for me, but I prefer to find inner peace rather than maintain a false facade. I'd rather speak my truth than let rumors tarnish the life my family and I have built so far. Things at home haven't been ideal, but they will improve. My family will be okay, and in time, so will I," she added.

Rapudo denies assaulting Amber Ray

Rapudo refuted allegations of violence against the mother of his child, clarifying that he acknowledged an incident occurred while they were both under the influence of alcohol, but he did not engage in any form of assault.

"This is a private family matter, and I prefer to keep our personal issues out of the public eye. I never confessed to assaulting her, and I certainly did not assault her. What I meant was that an incident occurred, but we are addressing and resolving it within our family," he explained.
