From media personality Anita Nderu, content creator Lorna Muchemi to popular ‘Akorino model’, Peris Wanjiku, several female celebrities joined the growing list of personalities off the market.

The sassy media personality is still looking for love.
In an interview on NTV in October 2021, the 46-year-old claimed she is yet to be married because of her status as an 'empowered woman' in the society.
“As an empowered woman, as a woman who has worked hard, who has been seen to do many things, it has been difficult for me to date,” the former Kiss 100 radio host said.
“I am still single because there’s that notion that you’re now a woman who cannot listen, will not help, whereas the reality is if I’ve worked hard and I’m doing well, I should be able to help even more."
Sheila Mwanyigha
Sheila Mwanyigha's name is synonymous with Kenyan radio and TV. She has been around for a while. Many remember from her music career as Nikki and her time as co-host at Tusker Project Fame.
She is unmarried by choice. A few years ago she disclosed that she had declined three marriage proposals for various reasons including incompatibility.
“The first, I didn’t think he was the right person for me. The second time my dad died and I wasn’t ready to leave Kenya and relocate to Europe. It was six months before the wedding,” she told Milele FM in an interview.
