25-year-old Muima says he is ready to marry his 85-year-old patner Thereza.

In an interview with Afrimax English, Muima revealed that they met when he was house hunting and developed a close friendship.

He says, Thereza would casually call him her husband which he took lightly until they started falling in love.

"This is my choice. This is my happiness, as anyone else has theirs. Before pleasing others, first, please yourself and decide not based on anyone else's opinions," Muima said in the interview.

Thereza says that after introducing Muima to her family, they expressed mixed reactions and only asked him to pay a dowry of 12 cows which he is willing to pay and hopefully do their white wedding.

Some of her children however feel it is quite unconventional and an embarrassment to their family.

The 85-year-old with eight children and 20 grandkids, says she is excited to get married to her lover and can't wait to don her white gown.

"I have eight children and 20 grandchildren. According to my boyfriend's age, he could be my fifth grandchild. He loves me and I love him. I am ready to put on the wedding dress and ring, " she said.

Muima hopes Thereza will live long as he vows not to marry a younger woman saying they are demanding.

He recalled a day when the lady brought him food that she served with so much care before asking for a kiss which he willingly offered.

"The way she behaved and treated (me) pushed me to love her and though she is an old woman and in reality, she could be my grandmother but I love her," Muima said.

"I'll never choose any girl over this one. I pray she won't die before me, "he added.
