Young Reverend Victor Githu has addressed rumours that he sat for the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams and attained 227 marks as widely claimed on social media.

For the better part of Monday, March 28, social media was awash with the claims before it later turned out that the information was shared by a social media user who impersonated Victor.

"When did I become a candidate; that's my question. How did I even do KCPE and scored 227 marks? Those are just rumours. Even if I did that KCPE, God would have favoured me. I'm blessed with wisdom I could even do better than that. I do not care what people say," Victor said in a recent interview.

Victor noted that he is currently in Grade 6 and that he does not appear anywhere on the list of students who sat the KCPE exams.

"I'm in Grade 6. Do not believe in such things, hakuna kitu kama hiyo. Sijafanya KCPE, hata sijui vile inakaa. Hata tukienda kuangalia list ya wale walifanya KCPE you wonder how this happened," he added.

He concluded by telling off his haters, stating that he will not engage them or retaliate against whatever they say, and maintaining that he has God on his side who shall fight for him.

"To those haters, nitawaambia, God awabless pia. I'm not here to curse and destroy anyone. Sijawaambia mfute pages zenu, sijawaambia muache kuspread fake news. Kile nawaambia there's God in heaven.

"No matter how much you mock me, Victor will continue shining. Kwanza this time round, you've given me the strength to shine even more so that you can testify. Mimi sistuliwi, nilipangwa na Mungu na nimekuja kupanga the haters," Victor said.
