A woman who is said to be a child protection officer has allegedly made a report at Akilla Police Station accusing Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa of coercing a child to feed him alcohol.

Didmus had shared a video on his social media pages showing a young girl whom she referred to as his daughter who was seen helping him take what he described as tea.

The evidently obedient and caring girl ensured that Didmus sipped the tea before taking a bit of it as well.

He captioned the video; "When the father becomes the kid."

However, in a strange twist, a woman has come out to castigate the MP for the action.

In a video that has been making rounds on social media, the woman whose identity is yet to be established says she was concerned after noticing the comments made on the Barasa's clip by netizens.

She claims the content of the cup is not tea but alcohol prompting her to seek police intervention into the matter.

"The video involves a young girl from the age of 13-14 years who is being forced by a senior public officer in this country to feed him and also make her drink something that looks like busaa," the woman says in the video.

K24 Digital reached out to Didmus Barasa via phone for him to clear the air and he was quick to rubbish the woman's claims asserting that the lady in the video clip is his daughter and that the two were taking tea at a java cafe.

"That's my daughter and we were taking tea at java," he stated.

The woman says she will be following the case keenly to ensure justice is served to the young girl.
