Wajir Woman Representative Fatuma Gedi is in mourning following the death of her father, Mzee Gedi Ali, on Sunday night in Nairobi.
Hi death was announced by Wajir Senator Farhiya Haji who sent her condolence message via her official social media accounts.

“I would like to send my condolences to my sister and parliamentary colleague, Hon Fatuma Gedi, Wajir County Woman Representative, whose father passed on in Nairobi.
May Allah rest Mzee Gedi Ali's soul in Jannah and relatives get patience and strength to cope with the loss of a pillar of their lives,” Senator Haju said.
The cause of his death was not immediately established.
By Monday morning social media was full of condolences messages directed to the family of the woman representative.
