Roots presidential candidate George Wajackoyah has expressed his delight after meeting his look-alike Gordon Owino.

Owino shot into limelight a few weeks ago after photos of him emerged on social media, showing an uncanny resemblance to the presidential hopeful.

From signature durag, glasses and grey beard one can hardly tell the duo apart.

Well, over the weekend, Wajackoyah invited his doppelgänger, a boda boda operator, to his offices in the city where he gifted him some goodies.

In a video shared online, an elated Wajackoyah is seen welcoming Owino to his office with a hug before he proceeds to his cabinet to get him some gifts.

He is seen counting wads of notes which he hands over to a smiling Owino.

That is not all, the acclaimed lawyer also gifted the rider one of his expensive watches, which he said is made of gold.

“I’ve never done this, but I will give this to you. This is one of the most expensive gold watches in the world. Always wear it on your right!” he is heard telling his guest as he straps the watch around his wrist.

The presidential candidate, who has promised to decriminalize marijuana (bhang) if elected, is also heard saying that the straps of the watch are made from hemp fiber.

“I bestow this watch to you as a person that has never given this kind of gift to anyone in the world, only my grandson who is in Spain. I gave him a 7-million watch,” Wajackoyah says as he offers to have Owino ride with him in his Lexus 570 campaign vehicle.

Wajackoyah says his administration will heavily rely on bhang and snake farming to pay the country's ballooning public debt if he wins the August polls.

He is running for the presidency against Raila Odinga of the Azimio - One Kenya coalition, William Ruto of the United Democratic Alliance party and Agano's David Mwaure Waihiga.
