Kenyan MP robbed

The incident comes a few days after Olokalau MP David Kiaharo was carjacked and robbed of Ksh700,000 by a gang of three.

An armed robber stopped Kiaharo as he was driving home from a refreshment joint at 2:00 pm.

Shortly after, two accomplices joined him before they forced the legislator to drive off to the Muthiga area within Kikuyu.

He was then blindfolded and demanded to give out his cash and ATM card. The robbers ransacked the motor vehicle before walking away with Ksh700,000, which he had hidden under the driver's seat.

The legislator was then abandoned in Karen while the gang fled the scene.
