T*******t suspect’s lawyer still missing after cops raided his home in Nairobi

A lawyer who has been representing Elgiva Bwire Oliacha, alias Mohamed Seif the main suspect in the 2011 double grenade attack in Nairobi is missing.

K24 Digital has established that Prof Hassan Nadwa went missing after security agencies raided his home along Ngong Road.

Sources say that the officers who raided his home are suspected to be from the Anti-Terrorism Police Unit (ATPU).

At the time of his disappearance, the Professor was following up on a case of two people who were abducted by suspected security agents.

“Islamic scholar, academician, and lawyer Prof Hassan Nadwa had been missing for two days now following a raid by ATPU officers at his home along Ngong Road,” the family said.

On Friday, professor’s family demanded that he is produced.

They said that they had looked for him everywhere including every police station but he was nowhere to be found.

“The people who came here were so rough and all we can say that was pure robbery. We have looked for him and we have not found him,” said a family member at the home.

“It is time he is released so that he can go on supporting his family,” he added.

He is known to have represented a number of cases in the Country which revolve around Human Rights.

In a rare occurrence of situation, Oliacha who pleaded guilty to nine charges which include; causing grievous bodily harm to two people at a bus stop where tens of Kenyans were.

On the first day when he was arraigned in court the State said that it was planning to bring more charges against him.

The officer attached to ATPU who was in court then saying that he was equally linked to a grenade attack on a pub which left dozens wounded.
