Police kill terror suspects

In March this year, two Alshabaab suspects were killed during an operation in the Boni forest.

The area has been under operation for years as the government seeks to remove terrorists in the forest and their remnants in the region.

According to the suspect, they had undergone military training between Milimani and Baure, and after completion, of the course, they were divided into three groups and deployed to execute attacks.

The suspects also said he was in the company of Jiblir Hassan, who is injured, Hussein Hassan, and Abdilahi Ibrahim.

The county has over the years experienced the brunt of terrorism due to its expansive Boni Forest that extends to Somalia.

Al-Shabaab militants have used the forest as a training and hide-out ground.
