Sonko offers Sh200,000 for anyone with information about suspected k****r who escaped police custody

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has offered to give out Sh200,000 to anyone who has information about the whereabouts of a suspected serial killer who escaped police custody.

The suspect, Masten Wanjala, escaped from Jogoo Police Station on Wednesday, October, 13 under unclear circumstances just hours before being presented before the court.

Sonko has now offered to help police trace the suspect who was accused of murdering 12 children.

The former city boss said that he will give the cash reward to anyone with information that can help the locate the suspect.

"I'm offering a reward of Ksh. 200,000 to anyone who will give information that will lead to the arrest of this animal by the police," Sonko said.

Sonko's offer comes after sources told K24 Digital that a manhunt has already been launched by the police with an aim of rearresting him.
