Several people are feared dead after a matatu heading to Kisii from Nairobi was involved in an accident at Kutete area near Mulot Town in Bomet County.
The 14-seater matatu involved in the crash belongs to Galaxy Sacco.
The matatu driver is said to have lost control of the vehicle before colliding with an oncoming lorry.
The Narok South Deputy Police Commander Magdalene Langat confirmed the accident, saying it is fatal and her officers are at the scene.
The number of casualties is yet to be established.
