The Tanzanian Deputy Health Minister, Dr. Faustine Ndugulile, who was fired on Saturday, has received the message of his sacking with humility.

"I have received the President's decisions with a lot of humility. I thank JPM [President John Pombe Magufuli] for giving me the opportunity to serve in his administration," Dr. Ndugulile said on his Twitter handle on Sunday.

According to The Citizen, Dr. Ndugulile said that Tanzania's Health Ministry has registered great achievements during the past year and thank the minister Ummy Mwalimu.

"I wish the new deputy minister, Dr. Godwin Mollel, all the best," said the sacked deputy minister.

On Saturday, President Magufuli picked Dr. Mollel to replace Dr. Ndugulile.

The sacked minister is a microbiologist and public health advocate who served at the ministry for nearly three years.

The new Health deputy minister holds a degree of medicine from Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences.
