Murang'a Woman Representative Sabina Chege has described Deputy President William Ruto as an untrustworthy politician.

She says that President Uhuru Kenyatta honestly trusted the DP only for him to become untrustworthy and undermined him.

Sabina compared the relationship between the former close buddies but now sworn political enemies to that of a hardworking man who lives in the city and sends his closest friend to take goodies to his family back at home.

In a narration which caused laughter among attendants of an Azimio la Umoja campaign meeting in Kiambu, she said;

"He behaved like a man who having been trusted by his closest of friends is sent to take money to his family back in the village. Unbeknown to him, the man goes ahead and turns his friend's wife into his lover and impregnates her and her daughters."

"This is exactly what Uhuru did. He sent his deputy to go around inspecting government projects but he turned them to be his own campaign tools and worse still poisoned the minds of the Mt. Kenya region residents who presently perceive the head of state as their worst enemy," Sabina claimed.

She prevailed upon voters from the region to rethink their political stand and more so their dalliance with the DP who is gunning for the presidency on a UDA ticket whom he termed as a power-hungry individual.

"I beseech you to choose your leaders wisely lest you elect a wolf in goat's skin. The future of this country is in your vote and hence you ought to go for the most suitable candidate who I believe is non-other than Raila Odinga," she said.

She also called upon voters in the region to turn out in large numbers during the elections day and vote for leaders of their choice.

"Those claiming that there will be voter apathy should realize that we have Martha Karua as Raila's running mate which means that our interests as a region will be well taken care of," she added.
