Raila Odinga tests positive for COVID-19

ODM leader Raila Odinga has tested positive for COVID-19, his doctor David Oluoch Olunya has confirmed.

In a press statement on Thursday evening, Dr. Olunya said Mr Odinga, 76, was confirmed COVID-19 positive on Thursday, March 11, three days after he was admitted to the Nairobi Hospital.

“We have confirmed that Raila Odinga has COVID-19. He is responding well to the treatment he is receiving at the Nairobi Hospital, and remains upbeat,” said Dr. Olunya in the press statement.
