Police in Gem Siaya county, have launched a probe into an incident where unknown people torched a car belonging to South Gem MCA Onyango Audi.
According to Gem Sub-County Police Commander Charles Chacha, attackers stormed his home on Monday morning and burnt down his vehicle before taking off.
"We received a report from workers at the home saying unknown arsonists stormed the compound and executed the heinous act. The MCA was away at the time of the incident. No one was injured during the incident," Chacha said.

He also added that police officers have since visited the scene and investigations are ongoing.
The MCA has served South Gem ward residents since 2017.
