Two people were on Tuesday evening nabbed after city-based detectives raided a number of drug dens within Kosovo area, Nairobi County.

In a statement by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations on Wednesday, November 4, the detectives also recovered blood-stained daggers, crude weapons and drugs.

“Bloodstained knives, cannabis Sativa, rounds of ammunition, pangas among other crude weapons have this evening been recovered by DCI detectives from drug dens within Kosovo bridge in Starehe Sub County,” the statement by the DCI read in part.

The statement further revealed that the detectives had completely destroyed eight drug dens.

During the raid, a number of suspects also managed to flee but detectives said that they were searching for them.

The two who were arrested are expected to be arraigned in court on Thursday.
