Pastor Dorcas Gachagua has penned down a hearty birthday message to celebrate her husband, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, on his special day.
In a note shared on her X account, Dorcas expressed admiration for her spouse, describing him as "extraordinary, a companion, and a friend."
She highlighted Deputy President Rigathi's role as the pillar and protector of their family, noting his commitment to truthfulness.

"Happy Birthday to my extraordinary man, husband, companion, and friend. You are the pillar and a covering of our family. You take everything in stride and are truthful to a fault," Pastor Dorcas wrote.
Pastor Dorcas praised her lover and acknowledged his support and love for their family.
"You are the best father and husband. Kevin, Keith, and I celebrate the wonderful gift of your life," she expressed.
In her birthday blessings, Pastor Dorcas prayed for Deputy President Rigathi's favour, long life, and abundant blessings, hoping that every desire of his heart would be fulfilled.

Gachagua, Dorcas love story
In June 2023, Dorcas shared the story of how she met her husband back in the 80s.
She recounted a moment of deep distress when she considered suicide due to family troubles.
Seeking solace, she found herself at Kabarnet Gardens where she unexpectedly encountered President Moi, whom she approached with thoughts of ending her life.
“We met at the University. Riggy G came into my life in the ’80s, on June 17, 1987, and there were these trips we used to go and see President Moi at Kabarnet Gardens.”
However, instead of dismissing her, the President listened to her troubles.
It was during this difficult time that Dorcas crossed paths with Rigathi Gachagua, who left a lasting impression despite her troubled state of mind.
She remembered his pleasant demeanour, recalling how he was dressed in a brown suit and was busy with organizing an event for President Moi.
“I thought he was interesting because he was wearing a brown suit with a brown tie with some stripes and he said hello as I went inside.”
Their initial meeting occurred at Kenyatta University, where Dorcas accompanied a friend to Kabarnet Gardens.
Despite not anticipating a relationship due to her focus on family responsibilities and her mental state, Dorcas found herself intrigued by Gachagua.
Reflecting on the encounter, she wondered why Gachagua was at the university since he wasn't a student there, but she was nonetheless captivated by him.
Despite her initial reservations about relationships, she couldn't deny being smitten by Gachagua's charm.
