The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) has issued a reminder to its clients about the shutdown of the Transport Integrated Management Systems (TIMS) portal.

The NTSA announced that the temporary closure is scheduled from Friday, December 29, 2023, to Monday, January 1, 2024.

The move is part of the authority's plan to implement the government directive to migrate all government services to the eCitizen Platform.

According to NTSA, the temporary shutdown is meant to limit transactions on all NTSA services as it aims to streamline and centralize government services.

"As a follow up to the public notice placed in the local dailies on Wednesday,131h December 2023 on the migration of all NTSA services to the ecitizen platform, we notify the public that the Authority intends to shut down the TIMS portal from Friday, 29th December 2023 to Monday. 1st January 2024 to limit transactions on all NTSA services, "NTSA Director General stated in a statement released on Friday, December 29, 2023.

NTSA said that during this period, all online services provided by NTSA will be seamlessly integrated with the eCitizen platform's single sign-on feature.
