Governor Natembeya promises to pay fee for dancing pediatric nurse after viral video

Trans Nzoia governor George Natembeya has today met the paediatric nurse whose video went viral.

In the video that wowed netizens, the lady identified as Elizabeth Robai was seen dancing to the famous 'Baby Shark" song to entertain a sick child at Kitale level IV hospital Ward 8.

In his reaction to the video, the governor stated that he was fascinated by the lady and commended her good work.

"Am fascinated by sensational moments by the paediatric nurse, Elizabeth Robai Lukelesia from Kenya Medical Training institute (KMTC) Kitale entertaining a recuperating child. Good work Elizabeth, dedication in service delivery is our guiding principle," he tweeted.

In an update after their meeting today, the governor vowed to offset Elizabeth’s fees and promised her internship and job once she completes her studies.

"This evening I hosted paediatric nurse Elizabeth Robai Lukelesia a Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) student who was caught in a viral clip entertaining a recuperating child at Kitale level IV hospital Ward 8," he stated.

Adding;

I have pledged to offset her tuition fees for the remaining period of her studies, further ensure she gets an internship and finally be absorbed to serve as a paediatric nurse. Congratulations Elizabeth Robai your effort and dedication have paid off."
