Churchill Show comedian MC Jessy, whose real name is Jasper Muthomi, has affirmed to K24 Digital that his indulgence in politics eying South Imenti parliamentary seat was not a joke as many assumed.

Speaking to this writer in Athi River, MC Jessy said he was committed to seeking the seat and heavily invested in campaigns with a vision of serving his constituencies.

The comedian says he has not given up and is set for a comeback in politics in the 2027 General Election.

"Ala I was serious that I wanted to serve my people. It was not a comedy. Why would I invest big money for a joke?" Jessy posed.
