Hundreds of Kenyans in Mombasa on Saturday, October 21, 2023, marched in protests against the Israeli attacks on the Palestinian territory of Gaza.

Protesters waved banners with the Palestine flag and with the words: "To stand with Palestinians is to stand with humanity" and "Stop Palestinians holocaust".

"Palestinians have a right to belong. So I say no to the killings in Palestine, I say no to the attacks in Gaza," one of the protestors said.

Dozens of people have so far been killed as the conflict between Israel and Gaza enters its 15th day since the unprecedented terror attack by the Palestinian militant group Hamas on October 7, 2023.

The Gaza Strip — the land between Israel and Egypt, next to the Mediterranean Sea- has been the territory at the heart of the Israeli-Gaza war.

The enclave is home to roughly 2.3 million Palestinians and is described as one of the most densely populated places on Earth.

The rally comes after a deadly blast at the crowded Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza City that is feared to have killed hundreds of people.

The Hamas-controlled Palestinian authorities in Gaza immediately blamed Israel, claiming it was a deliberate air strike however, Israel has denied involvement.
