Kirinyaga County ward representatives have yet again voted to reject Governor Anne Waiguru’s 2020/21 budget.

On Wednesday, July 15, 25 MCAs voted to reject Governor Waiguru’s memorandum on the budget in which she objected to their proposed iterations on the budget that they had passed.

Only one ward representative supported the governor’s memorandum while another abstained from voting.

The remaining MCAs walked out of the Kirinyaga County Assembly’s tent in Kerugoya town.
