Kericho Deputy Governor Susan Kikwai has died, a reliable source within Kericho County Government has confirmed to K24 Digital.

Kikwai died on Saturday morning (March 20) while receiving treatment for an undisclosed disease at the Siloam Hospital in Kericho.

Unconfirmed reports suggest the deputy governor succumbed to COVID-19. We couldn’t independently verify those claims.

Kikwai has served as Governor Paul Chepwony’s deputy since 2013.

Kikwai is the former Managing Director of Kenya Investment Authority (KenInvest) under the Ministry of Finance from 2005 to 2012.
