The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) on Thursday issued a traffic advisory to motorists using the Uhuru Highway.

The mentioned areas will be affected from today at 11.59 pm to Saturday, April 6, 2024.

According to KeNHA, the temporary closure is meant to allow the construction of a pedestrian tunnel connecting the University of Nairobi Main Campus and Chiromo Campus.

"The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) wishes to notify the public that there will be a temporary closure of Uhuru Highway (A8) between Hotel Boulevard and University of Nairobi roundabout (Mombasa Bound) from 11.59 pm on Thursday, March 28, 2024, to 11.59 pm on Saturday, April 6, 2024.
