Kenyans honoured the life of former Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha with a befitting funeral steeped in Luo traditions on Saturday, February 11.
Magoha who served in Uhuru’s Cabinet died on January 24 after suffering a cardiac arrest at home aged 71.
The funeral service is currently underway at his rural home in Umiru village, Gem Sub-County in Siaya County.

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta, former prime minister Raila Odinga, and various Kenyan politicians were among the dignitaries paying their final respects.
Thousands of people flocked to mourn and celebrate the former CS's life.
He is succeeded by his wife Barbara Odudu Magoha and his son Michael.
