How to check your KCSE 2021 results

The Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2021 results are being released today, Saturday, April 23.

The results are being announced by Education Cabinet Secretary George Magoha at Mitihani House.

831,026 registered for the examination. The exams were meant to be sat for in 2021 but it was called off due to the COVID-19 pandemic that disrupted the normal calendar.

After the announcement, candidates, parents, and guardians can access the results through the Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) website by clicking the KCPE tab and keying in their index numbers.

They can also get results via SMS platforms, county education offices and the respective schools.

For the SMS option, the candidates should send their index numbers, followed by the initials KCSE (in capital letters) to 20076 in order to access the results. 

The SMS platform is available for all mobile networks and is charged Ksh25 per candidate.

Notably, the systems go live at the end of the official release of the results.
