On person has been confirmed dead and at least five tourists and a local tour guide reported missing at Hell’s Gate in the Naivasha National Park.
The seven people are believed to have been among a group of people taking an excursion at the famous gorge when flash floods swept through the gorge.
Police and rescuers are currently trying to reach the site to establish the fate of those still unaccounted for.
