Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is hinting at going back to school to acquire another degree.

Gachagua says the pressure at meetings builds up every time as he tries to keep up with his mates who are more learned.

The DP said he will be in close talks with President William Ruto to allow him further his studies while still serving as the Deputy President.

Quoting Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki who holds a PhD, the DP says he is now challenged to further his education.

"President Ruto, please allow me some time, work allowing, to go back to school. You know that you have 3 degrees & CS Kindiki is a Professor. Meanwhile, I only have one degree. Sometimes in meetings, I get overwhelmed," Gachagua said.

Rigathi Gachagua holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree; in Political Science and Literature from the University of Nairobi.

He acquired the degree between 1985 to 1988.

He later joined Administration Police Institute for Paramilitary Training before joining the Kenya School of Government for Advanced Public Administration Course.
