Five people died in an accident on the Eldama Ravine-Eldoret Road after the vehicle they were in veered off road and landed in a ditch at Kabunyony junction.
Eldama-Ravine OCPD Rashid Hassan said three of the vehicle occupants died on the spot while two others perished on their way to the hospital.
The accident happened at about 5.30 am.

The damaged vehicle was towed to Eldama Ravine Police Station while the bodies were taken to Eldama Ravine hospital mortuary.
