A Mombasa based female police officer, who went viral after recorded herself demanding to be released from the National Police Service, has released a song insisting she is tired of the service and wants to be relieved from her duties.
In the first recording, the police constable identified by name as Viviana Williams accused her bosses of sexual harassment and mistreatment saying she wants to be let go from the service.
"Sir, kindly allow me to resign from the police office because I can thrive elsewhere. Even if it means, resigning without pay, I will not mind," she said while addressing the Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai.

Despite the IG ordering probe into the matter, the female cop seems not satisfied with the progress of the matter judging by the content of her just-released song.
In the song christened Kilio Changu, that she has featured an unidentified male Administration Police officer, Viviana raises the very issues she complained of in her first video.
“Sina hamu tena, na kazi ya polisi. Naambia wakubwa tena, hii ni kilio changu. Nimetuma barua mara mingi sana kwa ofisi lakini hazifiki… Mimi nimechoka na kazi ya kupenda hongo… Sitaki tena (I no longer have passion for this police job. I am telling my bosses once again; this is my cry. I have sent several resignation letters but they are not delivered… I am tired of this job that is all about loving corruption. I don’t want it),” goes the lyrics of the song.
In the song, she also captured a similar complaint raised by celebrated female police officer Doris Wako, who shot in the limelight for sheltering and feeding street kids, decrying harassment by her bosses has emerged on social media.
Wako is seen and heard lamenting over being frustrated by her seniors who she did not mention by name or rank.
“What wrong have I done to the police? Let me stay here with these street kids, so long as there is food, God will see us through. But police bosses have ruined the lives of these kids,” she said.
Viviana’s new song comes a month after Police IG ordered the Internal Affairs Unit (IAU) of the National Police Service to probe the matter.
In the preliminary report released by IAU, the female police constable was accused of lying over the cause of her frustrations.
The IAU said the female officer was embroiled in a tussle involving a Ksh105,000 phone.
She is said to have purchased the phone for the said amount from a Mombasa dealer who she later accused of scamming her.
Days later, she is said to have reported the matter at her police station after failing to come into an agreement with the dealer.
The same dealer is also said to have reported her over harassment prompting the Kisauni Sub County police commander Julius Kiragu to intervene and solve the matter. It was agreed that the dealer was to refund her Kshs70,000.
Viviana is reportedly said to have accused Kiragu of withholding her money and took the issue to Regional Commander who took it to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Kenya Police Service Edward Mbugua. DIG reportedly directed Kiragu to give her money something that was done and confirmed to his office in writing.
DIG also ordered she be transferred from the traffic department to Mjambere Police Station as a duty officer.
Viviana is said to have opposed her transfer leading to her public outcry.
