Muthoni said the two disappeared at midday when she was preparing to drop them to school.

"They were to report yesterday in their respective schools. We woke up and started preparing. I entered my room to prepare but when I came out and found they had left all their school belongings behind and vanished to an unknown destination," Muthoni said.

Boys wanted to be in same school

Muthoni said the two had raised concern that their wish was to study in one secondary school since they are twins questioning why they were separated.

She said they had no indiscipline issues since they were born.
