Music Copyright Society of Kenya (MCSK) CEO Ezekiel Mutua now says he is not looking for a job in President Ruto’s administration after clashing with Kenyans on Twitter.

Mutua was countering netizens who claimed he is eying a potential job in the new regime owing to his unusual positivity towards the government.

He indicated that he has a top job and in a shady plot twist claimed Kenyan youths need to build the capacity to control their emotions.

"Sad that people think that if you make a favourable comment about the Ruto administration you must be looking for a job. First, I have a job, in fact, as a CEO. But even then, is looking for a job a crime? Many Kenyans, especially the youth, need emotional intelligence," he stated.

This comes barely a day after the CEO left a demeaning comment on how Sophia Wanuna conducted her interview with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

He claimed Sophia anchored her interview 'wrongly', a comment that has attracted much criticism.

"Eish. . .Sophia Wanuna, you are not interviewing a political candidate. Rigathi Gachagua is the Deputy President of the Republic of Kenya. Give him time to explain his points. You can conduct a professional interview without bellicose jingoism!" he wrote on his Twitter page.
