A family in Nyamira is distressed after its member went missing in September 2021.

Delphine Monyangi Achoki, a nurse by profession, was last seen outside her office in Kitengela, Kajiado County.

Speaking to K24 Digital, her sister Paula Achoki said that Delphine had in the past been diagnosed with depression.

“My sister has been going through a lot after she gave birth to twins. It was all because of depression," Achoki said.

Achoki described her sister as a hardworking woman who always ensured things run well until she was diagnosed with depression.

On a poster shared on social media by family members and friends who are looking for her, Monyangi is described as brown in complexion and has dreadlocks.

Asked whether they have ever gone to look for her and where she lived, Achoki said that nobody knew where she was based.

The matter was reported at Nyamira Police Station by her mother and the family hoped that she will be found alive.

Equally, her mobile phone remains off which worries her family.
