A police constable attached to Bumula Police Station in Bungoma County was arrested after he reported to duty drunk and hurling insults at his superiors.

According to an OB report seen by K24 Digital constable Ekidor Mocama failed to report for duty on Thursday only to show up late for work while appearing drunk on Saturday, June 5.

"Ekidor Mocama of this station was arrested and placed in cells today by the OCS for being guilty of insubordination and also guilty of being drunk and disorderly," the OB report read.

It was reported that Constable Ekidor failed to report to duty for the second shift and when he resurfaced at the station at around 11:30 am on Saturday he insulted the OCS who was with other officers.

Ekidor's behavior prompted the OCS to contain him in a cell before disciplinary action is taken against the officer.
