Kenyan socialite Vera Sidika has announced her decision to take a hiatus from expanding her family for the next seven years.
The 34-year-old took to her Instagram stories to share her plans, accompanied by a humorous meme.
The meme listed four things she wouldn't be doing this summer, one of them being "not being pregnant."
"No more babies for me for at least 7 years, nope," the mother of two stated.
Vera Sidika has two children with Kenyan musician Brown Mauzo.
Sidika loves freedom
In February 2024, the mother of two talked about her life post-breakup with Mauzo noting that she has never been this happy.
While terming marriage a trap, the mother of two says she is not willing to give it another trial.
"Would you still give marriage a chance?" a fan asked to which she responded saying; "Never. It's a trap. I love my freedom."
Vera further noted that she is the happiest she has ever been and loves being single.
Another curious fan asked about how her breakup with her baby daddy singer Brown Mauzo unfolded when Vera disclosed her union was over four months before the duo parted ways.
"Was it easy for you to leave your marriage?" a fan quipped.
"For me, it was over 4 months before it ended. I was done emotionally, physically and mentally. So it was easy and the best decision ever made. I chose myself and wanted the best for my kids," she stated.
Sidika, Mauzo breakup
Mauzo announced the end of his marriage to socialite Vera Sidika on August 30, 2023.
The father of two took to his Insta stories and penned a series of messages, updating his fans about their mutual decision to part ways amicably.
Mauzo expressed gratitude for the moments he and Vera Sidika shared during their time together.
"I wanted to take a moment to share some personal news. After much consideration, Vera Sidika and I have decided to part ways. Our journey together has been filled with unforgettable moments, but we have reached a point where it's best for both of us and our babies, Asia Brown and Ice Brown, to move forward separately," he shared.
2-year marriage, two kids
Brown Mauzo and Vera Sidika were together for close to three years before they broke up.
The socialite disclosed she exclusively started dating Brown Mauzo on August 12, 2020 - she revealed this while celebrating their first anniversary in 2021.

The socialite accepted Brown Mauzo’s marriage proposal on her 32nd birthday on September 30, 2020.
A month later in October 2020, Vera came out to announce that she had already married the Coast-based singer.
Vera and Brown were blessed with their first child together, a girl named Asia Brown, on October 20, 2021.
The two former lovebirds welcomed their second child, a boy named Prince Icebrown, early this year.
Vera gave birth on March 3, 2023, but only chose to announce the birth of her son on May 30, 2023.
