Sarah Kabu, the wife of Bonfire Adventures CEO Simon Kabu, raised an eyebrow at the way she was staring at Betty Kyallo at Akothee's wedding.
The self-proclaimed president of goat wives drew the attention of netizens when she was caught on camera giving Betty Kyallo an 'evil' stare as the former TV girl conversed with Simon Kabu.
Sarah, who was seated across the table, kept gazing at Betty and her husband Simon Kabu who seemed to be lost in their conversation, oblivious to the tension they were causing.
Photos of Sarah eyeballing Betty went viral on social media as netizens made jokes about what the president of goat wives was thinking.
N/B: 'Goat wives' are women who are legally married or have cohabited with their spouses for so long that they are married in the eyes of society. Any woman who dares touch one of their own, by daring to date their men, usually gets the backlash online and is automatically branded a ‘homewrecker’.
Apology
Sarah Kabu came out to apologise to Betty Kyallo after trending on social media over the way she stared at the media personality.
She explained that her mind was far away and she couldn't even remember giving Betty Kyallo the evil eye.
"Wueeh i don't understand why I'm trending… my mind was far hata hio jicho mbaya sikumbuki…pole sana @bettymuteikyallo my mind ilikua mbali," Sarah Kabu wrote.
She also responded to critics who castigated her for wearing a dress with a long slit at Akothee's wedding.
"Halafu wedding ya madam boss @akotheekenya mnataka tuvae maxi ama jeans? My husband was ok with the long slit so ndigithiai ngoma," she added.
Welcome to goat wives' club
Betty Kyallo, Sarah Kabu and her husband Simon Kabu were among the celebrities who attended Akothee’s wedding at Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club on April 10, 2023.
Sarah encouraged Akothee for leaving the single club (Akothee used to call herself the president of single mothers) and welcomed her to the goat wives' club.
She encouraged single mothers who love marriages to remain hopeful, now that their president Akothee is officially off the market. She further advised them to keep searching for their partners instead of dwelling on the past.
