Celebrated actor Tyler Mbaya’s brother, Mungai Mbaya and his baby mama, model Mo Aisha, have broken up.
Mungai shared the news in an update on his Instagram page on Monday, July 25, albeit not divulging much information about their split.

In his update, Mungai noted that they separated on mutual terms after things started playing out differently from what they’d hoped.
He, however, clarified that they are on good terms and he still got some love for her.
“Aisha and I broke it off recently. We straight though, Got nothing but love for her, pretty sure she feels the same way. Things played out differently from what we'd hoped
“We will always be Baba and Mama Lyric, and I appreciate all the support y'all gave us through our most trying time. Love you all. All I ask is that you will keep it mindful and respectful. Only sharing this to clear things up. Keep the support coming,” he wrote.
Relationship was just for fun
In a past Q &A session on her Instagram page, Aisha sparked reactions after disclosing that they were in a polyamorous relationship.
For instance, she claimed that they have dated two girlfriends in their relationship.
“The first girlfriend we dated for eight months then we broke up and the current one, this is the third month," Aisha said.
On what if Mungai fell in love with another woman, Aisha said;
“We all know our stand in the relationship and I know Mungai. If he was the type of a man, we wouldn't even be dating or I wouldn't even have brought this up but he is not.”
She added; "If either of us ever falls in love with someone else, we have a conversation and we will break up because that is where you stop fighting for someone but we won't stop being friends. Otherwise, nothing can break us.”
Mungai Mbaya and Mo Aisha lose baby
The two who started dating three years ago have broken up months after losing their newborn baby, Lyric Kagecho Mungai.
In a social media post then, the young mother expressed shock following her son’s departure, also revealing how hard her son fought to survive.
“I’m literally shaking typing this because I’m still in shock. I can’t believe my baby is gone and I’m never going to see him. He fought so hard to stay with us but he was in too much pain, he decided it was time for him to rest
“I’ve decided to show his face today because so many people loved him without even knowing him or how he looked like,” she wrote in part.
The grieving mother noted that she has never dealt with such loss in her life, further thanking her departed son for making her a mother.
“Yaani I’m still in shock and denial, I even feel like vomiting my guts out. I’ve never dealt with loss in my life before and this hits home so bad. I miss him so much. May 28th will always be the best day of my life and June 28th the worst
“He gave me happiness that I had never felt and we loved him so much. He made me a mother and I’ll always be in his debt for that. We still love him and he will always be my Lyric Kagecho Mungai,” she noted.
