“If he gets an opportunity to serve us at the AU as the chair, we as Kenyans forget all our differences and rally behind a fellow Kenya. If Mr. Odinga has expressed interest, we would rather have him there because when he is there the interests of Kenya are taken care of. We as government fully support his candidature,” stated Mwaura.

Musician Peter Mwangi alias Miracle Baby with his partner Carol Katrue marked their son's first birthday in a hospital setting with the Mugithi singer still in his hospital bed.

Katrue took to her Instagram page to share glimpses of the celebration of their little one.

"Happy birthday baby Rhonix, you have officially turned a year old. May God always protect you, we love you, baby," she wrote

In one of the images, Miracle Baby is seen lying on a hospital bed embracing and kissing his son.

Another photo showed Carol holding their child as they cuddled.

Miracle Baby underwent his third surgery on February 6, 2024.

In a heartfelt message to their fans, Carol requested prayers for the surgery to go well.

"Going for the third surgery, we need prayers," Katrue wrote.

On Thursday, January 18, 2024, Carol Katrue posted a picture showing her partner, wearing an oxygen mask, resting on a hospital bed.

However, Katrue chose not to provide detailed information about Miracle Baby's condition, instead only announcing that her baby's father had undergone a successful surgery.

The mother of one additionally asked her fans for prayers.

“Thank God for the successful surgery but continue praying for him,” Carol Katrue wrote on InstaStories.

In the message, Katrue shared that her child's father underwent surgery due to ruptured intestines.

She mentioned that the musician would need to use a tube to go to the restroom for six weeks because a portion of his intestines was protruding outside of his body.

The mother of one remarked that Miracle Baby would need to undergo another surgical procedure in the future to reposition the rest of his intestines inside his body.

"Hae guys the surgery was successful but the intestines had burst they have managed to wash but he will be going to the toilet through a pipe and they have left some intestines outside for 6 weeks and when he recovers he will go back to the theatre so that the intestines can be returned inside," Carol Katrue wrote.
