Jacque Maribe insists she only shares a platonic relationship with Dennis Itumbi after years of being linked together romantically.
The media personality addressed her relationship with Itumbi while celebrating his birthday.
In a post on her InstaStories on March 18, 2024, Maribe wished Itumbi a happy birthday and stated that they have been friends for 20 years.

The journalist shared a photo she posed with Itumbi and other acquaintances and stated that the people in the picture would help him to find a wife.
"This new year around the sun, this group in this picture will help you find a wife, so everyone stop assuming it's me. Happy birthday D.I," Jacque Maribe added.

Jacque Maribe and Dennis Itumbi have been raising eyebrows over the past years because of the nature of their relationship.
The two have in the past been caught exchanging saliva like lovebirds even though Maribe insists they are only BFFs with zero romance at play.
Maribe and Itumbi set the internet on fire in February 2015 when they were caught kissing and cuddling amorously.
Photos showing Itumbi and Maribe locking lips, swapping saliva and checking each other's tonsils set tongues wagging.
After the smooching incident, Maribe and Itumbi were strongly believed to be dating until Joseph 'Jowie' Irungu came into the picture.
Jowie swept Jacque Maribe off her feet with strong love and in July 2018 she accepted his marriage proposal.
However, Jowie and Maribe's relationship was wrecked by the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani in September 2018.
Jowie was charged with murdering Monica Kimani while Maribe was charged as an accessory to the murder.
Maribe and Jowie parted ways during the trial. Itumbi was once again seen close to her as he often attended her court cases.
On January 6, 2022, Jacque Maribe introduced Dennis Itumbi as ‘son-in-law’ to her father – rekindling dating rumours.

Jacque Maribe was ultimately acquitted of Monica Kimani's murder on February 9, 2024, while the court found her ex-fiance Jowie guilty.
Itumbi and Maribe were seen walking out of the court while holding hands after she was acquitted.
Jowie was on March 13, 2024, sentenced to death after being found guilty of the murder of businesswoman Monica Kimani.
