Kenyan dancehall artiste KRG the Don has fired at sickly musician Peter Mwangi alias Miracle Baby over claims that the government did not honour its pledge to help him.

KRG angrily castigated the artiste and his baby mama Carol Katrue saying they should be ashamed for lying to Kenyans about the matter and dismissed their claims that President William Ruto did not honour his promise.

He went on to state that the couple is ungrateful even after the Head of State facilitated his hospital treatment at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH). He added that the two are opportunists looking to leach from Kenyans at any chance they can.

While firing at the two, KRG implored them to learn how to receive help in whichever way given without setting 'unrealistic' demands.

"Problem ya hawa watu wanataka cash flow washaona wakenya ni ATM, Kenyans don't be fooled by everyone coming to you to take money, cause mtakua mnaendeshwa kwa baiskeli kama mteremko. You have to be very wise,

"Watu ambao wanakuguide sai wanakupotosha kwa sababu you got a golden chance ya kupata matibabu but what you guys are doing is wrong. Kitu ya kwanza you people are very ungrateful. Sisi tunajua uko na shida na mtu akiwambia atakutatulia shida yako flani receive the help and appreciate," KRG said.

The agitated artiste also stated that the president's directives regarding his specialized treatment were implemented and that the two confirmed that they were comfortable.

He subsequently warned Kenyans not to be too quick to help the two whenever they appeal because it is a scheme aimed at extorting gullible citizens.

"Tulikuja kwenu tukakuconvince mpaka tukaenda hosi tukapewa VIP treatment from beginning to end, the guy got services within an hour, hio yote ni coordination tulipanga, tulimake sure amepewa best treatment yeye anataka apewe special room, tukampigania akapata room pahali hakuna mtu anamsumbua, tukamake sure ameridhika.

"But mumeamua kutulipa na kutuaibisha, nyinyi mnataka luxury, the moment mmeona Kenyans wanawapatia luxury treatment mna take advantage. Unataka luxury ukae kwako na wakenya wanatuma pesa..," the singer added.

KRG's remarks come shortly after content creator Bernice Saroni called out the government for failing to honour its pledge to help the sick artiste.

This was after Katru told her that they did not have sufficient funds to purchase an ostomy bag for the artiste.

Ostomy bags are used for collecting pee and poop for a short while to allow patients' small or large intestines to heal.

Saroni questioned why the situation had turned for the worst when the Head of State had pledged to assist the musician.

She went on to claim that Katrue informed her that the president did not fulfil his pledge and that the only help they got was the Ksh300,000 cash he handed to them.

"Carol Katrue reached out to me last night. So we have been talking. Na jana Caro alikua na stress sana so she called me akaniambia Peter doesn't have the ostomy bag, it is leaking hawana pesa ya kununua," Bernice Saroni said during a TikTok live session with her fans.

"Caro akaniambia hakuna story kama hio, hio yote ilikua story ya jaba. Yes, they received the Ksh300,000 but the hospital was not paid. And I was like 'I think need to come out and tell people what is going on, the truth so that people can help you'," she added.

Saroni subsequently asked her fans to contribute and managed to raise Ksh67,000.

"And thank you guys so much tuliingia live na Caro na watu wakachanga Ksh67,000 so God bless you guys the online family for those who came through," Saroni added.
