Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has finally responded to claims made by Samidoh's wife Edday Nderitu that she ruined her marriage with the Mugithi artist.
Edday took to her social media to rant about her frustrated married life a day after the Mugithi sensation was spotted in the company of his baby mama Nyamu during a funeral ceremony in Murang'a.
She expressed her disappointment in her husband noting that she has remained faithful through their 15 years of marriage despite Samidoh's disrespect, humiliation and subjecting her to social media trolls.
Edday also narrated how they began their married life from humble beginnings.
She also claimed that she helped nurture the musician's talent and supported him through his career.
Continuing her spiel, she insisted that she would not be a co-wife of a woman who is 10 years older than her and has no morals or respect for people's families.
"It has been exactly 15 years of marriage full of ups and down, it was a humble beginning where little was enough for us, and for the last 3 years it has been nothing but pain, I have remained faithful to you regardless of disrespect, humiliation and being trolled on social media, you’ve made me look dumb and took my silence for granted.
"I have helped you nature your talent and supported you through it all, but one thing I have said to you and I am saying here again I will not raise my kids in a polygamy family, especially with a woman who is older than me by more than 10yrs, has no morals and zero respect to my family ’kiura Kia ngaba’ as you put it, I have asked God every day to give me strength to pray for you but today I have nothing to tell God about you, you have drag and put me and my kids in an ocean of pain may you remember this day," she wrote.
Nyamu was forced to respond after a fan alleged she was a home wrecker.
The user identified as lin_njoks had claimed that the nominated senator would soon pay back for ruining Edday's marriage.
"Ur soo wicked nyamu… unafulahia kuvunja ndoa ya mtu mwingine u will pay one-day remember curse hukuwa ur generation be careful wakati unalilisha mwanamke mwingine.. ur time is coming to be ready to face the same situation this is soo disrespect.." the fan wrote.
In her rejoinder, Nyamu defended that she was not an evil woman as people claim.
"Hio ni ujinga yenyu kwani mimi si mwanamke na watoto wangu si watoto?The real evil woman is not me," she wrote.
